Dutycode

Terms of Service

Last updated: March 2025

1. Acceptance

By installing Dutycode on your Shopify store, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not install or use the app.

2. Service Description

Dutycode is an AI-assisted HS code classification tool designed to help Shopify merchants prepare product data for international cross-border shipping. It generates Harmonized System codes, country-specific tariff code extensions (EU CN8, UK commodity codes, US HTS), and writes them to Shopify product metafields.

Important disclaimer: HS code classifications generated by Dutycode are provided for informational and planning purposes only. They do not constitute legally binding customs rulings or formal tariff classifications. For official import/export declarations requiring binding rulings, consult a licensed customs broker. Dutycode accepts no liability for customs duties, import taxes, fines, delays, or confiscation arising from use of AI-generated classifications.
